Summer Wilson

Summer's TESTIMONIAL

Anna Peploe ( summer's mum);

Afiz's coaching has been invaluable to our daughter. Since he first gave her a ball at age 6, her technique and overall game knowledge has developed rapidly through his coaching. Afiz pays close attention to detail, and shares his extensive game knowledge with his developing players. He enables them to make good decisions in games and to take responsibility for the outcomes of their training. He instills a strong work ethic in his players, through upholding the behaviours he expects from them and through investing in them as individuals so that they trust him.

Our now 9yr old loves her training with Afiz, she has learnt resilience, work ethic, respect, patience, and a whole lot of basketball.r me, it bothers him as well.

Afrasyab Khalil TESTIMONIAL

What Afra has to say:
Afiz AKA Mr.way2work, the CEO of way2work. I’ve been training with Afiz for abit now and since I started working out with him, I’ve constantly seen improvement in my handles, defence, shooting & IQ. I’ve worked out a lot with him & all workouts have been really productive. there’s been a few times that we would be in a disagreement that “I’m not going to use this in my game or I don’t see myself doing this” & I’ve always been wrong. Afiz knows the game and continues to learn more and more about it & I would recommend people to fully trust him because all the success I’ve had in my journey until now, he’s one of main reasons why, and I’ll have more and more success with Gods grace and Afiz’s continuous help.
Afiz doesn’t just help me with workouts but also game reviewing. He’ll add all my negatives to one clip & watch it with me and tell me what I could’ve done in that situation to avoid that. I really appreciate that Afiz because he just wants the best for me & knows my potential and hard work I put in day in day out so when I have a bad game or something, it don’t just bother me, it bothers him as well.

Mohammed Hussein

Mohammed Hussein TESTIMONIAL

What Mohammed has to say:
When I started working out with Way2Work I was afraid. I mean it's normal right? Your game is like your baby and to trust you child with someone who isn't you is scary. Well to me anyway.

Nonetheless I did it, decided to go under W2W's wing and the main focus was to improve my handle & footwork.

Now at first it wasn't comfortable, it wasn't easy, it wasn't fun... Because it's a process. And how I worked wasn't the same as someone else did, because we were all at different levels.

Afiz & I documented our workouts and over the summer I saw my handle and footwork jump leaps and bounds!

On top of that I lost a lot of weight, also from almost 100kg to 88! He doesn't just care about on court, he is concerned about off the court too because it all adds up.

He was tracking my sleep, my diet (I've had many sweets thrown in a bin I ain't playing). It was all worth and I'd do it all again.

Working out with Way2Work was the best thing I've done for my game & health in a long time!

Everyone has their own way to work & I found mine working with W2W

Jamella Sampson TESTIMONIAL

What our Jamella has to say:
Afiz to me is more than a basketball coach, he has proven a life coach and a mentor who has helped me through a plateau in performance and improved every aspect of my game. From my basketball IQ to my ball handling, my decision making and improving my confidence on and off the court, way2work has got me right and is ready to push me past my limits. Through the constant breakdown and analysis of my games, I have learnt how to use my strengths to my advantage, along with techniques and ways to work on my discovered weaknesses. The things I’ve learnt from way2work are incomparable and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to work with him.

Charlotte Thomas Rowe

Charlotte Thomas Rowe TESTIMONIAL

Afiz has great knowledge/IQ of the game accompanied by his honed analytic skills. His ability to intricately break down game situations and go-to moves (of professional players) then implement it into training sessions has helped me improve my scoring ability. For example, attacking my opponents (defenders) in various ways reading what they give me and having counters for any situation and adjust accordingly.

Additionally, we’ve worked on my shot by breaking down footage of my mechanics of shooting and making the minor tweaks which has had major results. He has also analysed my footwork and made me shoot 1000’s of shots to instil muscle memory.

In summary, I’ve bettered my understanding of the game and to not just perfect things in practice but to know instinctively when to do it in a game situation. Also, to take what I l’ve learnt and do outside of practice and work on it myself.
